Within the Bridge & Civil Engineering section, WSP has gathered the company's expertise in bridge engineering, hydraulic engineering, and marine structures in all phases from investigation, planning, and design to construction and management. We believe in sustainability even in the workplace and create it through good structure and planning.About the roleAs a bridge inspector and operations manager, you will lead and coordinate the inspection work in the department and alternate between planning, leading, being in the field, and performing various types of inspections and investigations of bridge and civil engineering structures along with design and load-bearing calculations for maintenance and reinforcement measures. In this role, you will also act as an advisor in management for clients and other employees within WSP Bridge & Civil Engineering. Fieldwork takes place on-site at the constructions, which means travel is required. The work is project-based within design as well as operations and maintenance. There is an opportunity to develop in a leading role with project responsibility and client contact.

Your profileWe are looking for someone who: 

• Has a relevant university degree

• Has at least 5 years of experience in bridge management and inspection of bridges & civil engineering and a valid certificate from the Swedish Transport Administration's course for bridge inspection, thus categorizing yourself as an experienced designer 

• Is proficient in BaTMan and planning tools and has the necessary knowledge of ABK

• Communicates fluently in both Swedish and English 

• Holds a valid driver's license (B).
